Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has so far established friendly relations with 27 cities, including sister cities, according to a news conference held on July 6.
In the first five months of this year, 1,610 new market entities were established in Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to the market supervision administration of Guian.
Some 39 prefecture-level administrative regions were approved to build innovation-driven demonstration cities, including Guiyang.
Over the first five months of this year, Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province reported 8.49 billion yuan of investment in place.
As of now, there are 29 entrepreneurship incubation bases in Guiyang and Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, with over 1,600 startups being incubated and creating employment opportunities for over 6,000 people.
The first city-region industry-education alliance in Guizhou, the Guiyang-Guian big data industry-education alliance, was established at Guizhou College of Electronic Science and Technology in Guian New Area on May 28.
