On March 1, the "Guiyang Gifts" store opened at Qingyun Road in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, offering a unique blend of cultural creativity and trendy gifts for both locals and visitors.
The store is the first in Guizhou to feature a "dual-gallery model" for cultural and tourism products. Gallery A showcases award-winning items, intangible cultural heritage (ICH) techniques, boutique crafts, and co-branded bestsellers, while Gallery B introduces an innovative concept combining cultural-themed pastries and custom beverages, highlighting Guiyang's food culture.
The grand opening included the forming of strategic cooperation agreements with three local brands, along with cosplay parades, blind box raffles, and product tastings, drawing over 20,000 participants.
"Guiyang Gifts" integrates the city's cultural creativity, ICH crafts, and specialty agricultural products, promoting Guiyang's tourism and enhancing its image. Moving forward, the store plans to partner with more local enterprises to further boost the city's culture and tourism development.
