Guiyang Olympic Sports Center's second phase nears completion

The main stadium of Guiyang Olympic Sports Center's second phase is nearing completion, marking another milestone in Guiyang's efforts to enhance public sports and cultural facilities. This key public welfare project will soon provide residents with higher-quality sports and recreational services.

Located in the city's Guanshanhu district, the second phase project has a total construction area of approximately 130,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan ($195.38 million).

The complex includes a main stadium, a training hall, supporting buildings, an underground space, and outdoor landscaping and auxiliary infrastructure.

The new stadium will be capable of hosting national-level sporting events and large-scale performances, further improving the sports center's functional layout.

Guiyang Tourism Development Group has already established a dedicated investment promotion and operations preparation team for the project, with work progressing smoothly.

As a key State-owned enterprise of the city, the group will contribute to the high-quality development of Guiyang's cultural, tourism, and sports industries.
