Guizhou promotes integrated development of housing & urban-rural construction

Guizhou's housing and urban-rural construction system will promote the integrated development of housing and urban-rural construction with multiple industries in 2026.

As part of this effort, Guizhou will expand the use of clean energy sources such as natural gas, promote green and prefabricated buildings, and advance the use of phosphorus gypsum building materials, thereby supporting the development of new quality productive forces in the new energy battery and building materials industries.

Guizhou will develop new construction methods such as intelligent construction, encourage the application of construction robots, and support the development of advanced equipment manufacturing.

In the integrated development of housing and urban-rural construction with the service industry, Guizhou will leverage the large-scale application of building materials in construction projects to gather capital, products, and logistics, cultivate industrial and supply chains, and boost the development of wholesale, finance, and modern logistics industries. Guizhou will integrate the needs of smart cities and intelligent construction with digital-intelligent empowerment of surveying, design, supervision, testing, cost estimation, and fire technical services.

In the integrated development of housing and urban-rural construction with emerging and future industries, Guizhou will focus on these sectors by expanding the application of AI technology in scenarios such as smart cities and intelligent auxiliary review of construction drawings, promote the application of industry-specific large models in fields such as gas safety, urban governance, property services, and fire review and acceptance, and advance pilot applications of embodied intelligence in high-risk scenarios such as confined space operations.
