China (Guiyang)-Africa used car conference secures key deals

The China (Guiyang)-Africa Used Car Industry Matchmaking Conference was recently held in Changsha during the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo.

The event brought together over 40 representatives from African countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone, as well as delegates from more than 50 Chinese automotive companies and trade associations to explore cooperation opportunities.

The conference featured a signing ceremony, where Guizhou Tyre Co, Guizhou Zhonghui Heavy Industry Co, Guiyang Silu Auto Technology Co, and the Guiyang Import and Export Enterprises Association signed agreements with African buyers and the Used Car Export Subcommittee of China Auto Dealers Chamber of Commerce. The total value of the signed deals reached 81.6 million yuan.

Jiang Jun, head of the China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base, announced plans to establish overseas operation centers in Africa. The initiative aims to export 2,000 commercial used vehicles annually, upgrading from product exports to full-service solutions that integrate technology, services, and the supply chain, deepening cooperation between Guiyang's automotive industry and African markets.
