The new hall of the Hands-on Memory Museum in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, officially opened on May 23, alongside the opening of the Sanyoupo Cultural and Art Village.

In recent years, Guanshanhu has been continuously pushing for the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism development. It has developed a series of villages that integrate agriculture with tourism development, such as Wengjing village in Jinhua town, Gaopo village in Zhuchang town, and Gula village in Baihuahu town.

These villages have stimulated rural tourism development, improved living environments, and increased people's incomes.

The Hands-on Memory Museum aims to establish a research-oriented and collection activation function as an intangible cultural heritage museum.

The museum currently houses nearly 4,600 wax dyeing, embroidery, folk items, and other items.

The new hall covers an area of 2,000 square meters, with a building area of 5,000 sq m and an exhibition area of 2,000 sq m.

As a display and experience center for traditional intangible cultural heritage, the new hall serves multiple purposes, such as international cultural exchange, intangible cultural heritage craftsmen exchange, academic lectures, cultural inheritance and experience activities.

It also includes supporting facilities such as oral history archive exhibitions and documentary film screening rooms, anthropology book houses, handicraft experience, cultural and creative displays and sales spaces, tofu restaurants, and the Blue Flower Narrative Hotel.
